Guys! You won’t believe how many amazing books are still there yet to be read. I am getting more and more addicted to my Kindle Unlimited because I can read and read, and only for 9.99 euros a month!

So I read these ten amazing books on KU lately:

(And, yes three books are by Freida Mcfadden because they were really good and are worth mentioning)

  1. By a Thread by Lucy Score
  2. The Housemaid by Freida Mcfadden
  3. Never Lie by Fredia Mcfadden
  4. The Locked Door by Freida Mcfadden
  5. I know by Steve Brealey
  6. Inside our Tomato by Bob Terna
  7. The Escort to the Grave G.T. Walker
  8. Penpal by J.T. geissinger
  9. When she returned by Lucinda Berry
  10. If you tell by Greg Olsen

“By a Thread” is a fluffy romantic story about a stubborn, sexy, arrogant rich guy who falls for a curvy, sexy hair (as he describes it) woman, who happens to serve him a pizza with FU on it to reply to his snobby comments. He gets her fired and she gets a job at his company because his mom hires her. The hate turns to attraction and that’s when it gets spicy since they can’t be working together and having a relationship. This book is so funny and is one of those books which you just want to read in one sitting because it’s just too cute to put down.

“The Housemaid” makes you think. How could a woman who just got out of prison and could hardly find a job, suddenly get hired by Nina? She wants her to take care of the house, her kid’s needs, the cooking, and the husband. Millie, the ex-convict, does all that swallowing down Nina’s and her daughter’s attitudes and even when they flip out on her she takes it all in. But, things change. Be sure to read the book to find out more about how it all stirs around. I too didn’t see it coming!

“Never Lie” takes place in the house Ethan and Tricia are checking out as a newly wedded couple, for about six months, also expecting a baby. The house which up till this point belongs to Adrianne, a psychiatrist who disappeared in mysterious circumstances, still carries her belongings and secrets which unravel the mystery of her disappearance. Between EJ and Luke, it is unclear who the killer is. Her body too is not yet discovered. Is she really dead?

“The Locked Door” is proof that not every apple that falls from the tree carries the same traits. And even if it did, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it follows the same pattern. The daughter of a serial killer, Nora Davis, is being framed for the death of two of her patients because they were killed in the same way her father used to kill women with blue eyes. She didn’t do it. That’s what she tells us the whole story but is this the truth?

“I know”. Ben has cancer and he finds out that his wife is less concerned if he was dead or alive. His suspicions grow and he finds out about her affair. He decides to kill both her and her lover. He gets caught in the act by accident although he planned it really well and this is when plans had to change.

“Inside our Tomato” is a story that reminds us of how important family is, even though it might interfere sometimes with our personal affairs. We sometimes have to choose; and, although the choice is not in our favor at first, then maybe things turn out to be not so bad after all.

“The Escort to the Grave” is one of the most creative stories I have read this year. It tells us about a secret society that kidnaps a girl who in the end shows up to tell everyone clues and draws them perfectly to our main character, Eddie, the detective, who lost his wife in an accident and only managed to save his friend’s wife instead. Deaths happen, sacrifices are made and Eddie investigates until he connects the dots and finds out who is sacrificing those children and who is protecting them.

“Penpal” is a very spicy story about a woman who lost her husband and grows her attachment towards Aiden, who she hired to fix her house and got intimate with. She is experiencing weird things in the house and can not explain the appearance and disappearance of a child in her backyard. Her housekeeper tells her there are spirits in the house and they start to take care of the problem with the help of her psychic sister…

“When she returned” broke my heart as a mom who could not imagine a woman would abandon her family for a spiritual call. She left a loving husband and her child behind to follow a group called Love International which tortured her and brainwashed her. She escaped Love Intl. and joined her family again after eleven years, with a baby in hand. She walks us through her journey and we walk right into the trap she set for us too. Be aware, she looks innocent, but she’s not.

“If you Tell” is a true story, unfortunately, of how a narcissistic mother, with the help of a passivist husband, can do all that and more to her own kids, and to people who were weak and needed a hand. Somehow she got away with what she did to them all of those years until in the end I mean FINALLY, she gets what she …I believe she deserves way worse actually. Yes, she’s that awful!

Some of these were unforgettable because they were that good! I hope you enjoy them! Thank you!
